Electric Vehicles

Electric VehicleWe are strongly supportive of electric vehicles (EVs) and the phasing out of petrol and diesel-powered cars. There are now a growing number of EVs in the village and now a small publicly available charging facility in the Bolton Road car park. More public charging points will be needed as EV ownership is set to grow rapidly in coming years and not everyone, especially those living in Main St with only on street parking will be able to charge at home.
